Revelation 6
In Revelation 6, the Lamb begins to open the seals. As the seals are opened, the four living creatures begin to call forth the horses. When the first seal is opened, one of the living creatures cries, “Come and see,” and the first horseman rides out on a white horse –the represents the spread of The Gospel. With the second seal comes the horseman on the red horse – War.

Then the horseman on the Black Horse rides out:

And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and do not the oil and the wine. Revelation 6:5-6
